⚡ACTION ALERT⚡ #DAPL UPDATE!

PUBLIC COMMENT NEEDED BY NOVEMBER 13 for Draft Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) of the Dakota Access Pipeline (DAPL) Project.

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (ACE) opened a comment period for their Draft DAPL EIS. This is one of our last opportunities to #ShutDownDAPL for good.

It is critically important that public comments and amplification of the social media toolkit listed in this post occur during this time.
.
NOTE:  Mass comments copied from “Template” testimony saying the exact same thing WILL ONLY BE COUNTED AS A SINGLE COMMENT SUBMISSION.  That is why It is important to not copy and paste from others but to write something unique.

When it comes to #DAPL, the route of the pipeline is not only illegal, but is riddled with flawed engineering and construction, and is a safety nightmare. We must hold ACE & EPA to their own laws! This Black Snake must be defeated once and for all!
.
BACKGROUND:
The Dakota Access Pipeline (DAPL) is a risky oil pipeline that threatens drinking water and was built without adequate environmental analysis or Tribal consultation. We currently have a critical opportunity to shut it down once and for all!
.
The Standing Rock Sioux and Cheyenne River Sioux Tribe and grassroots water protectors have led the resistance against DAPL since the beginning. Now, thanks to their continued resistance and leadership, thousands of us have a chance to go on the record with our support, and submit official public comments between now and November 13th to the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers with testimony against this dirty oil pipeline.
.
We need you to join us to Stand with Standing Rock again and call on the Biden Administration to shut down DAPL – a pipeline that never should have been built to begin with!
