Who we are:

350Hawaii is the local chapter of 350.org, the largest international organization dedicated to fighting the climate crisis. We are ordinary people, workers, activists, moms, dads, students and retirees in Hawaii doing what we can to fight climate change in our piece of the world. And maybe more. Contact us here.

Our Mission:

We’re working to end the fossil fuel pollution damaging our climate, speed the transition to clean energy, and create a just and healthy future for all. Join us.

Why the name 350?

350 is the number of parts per million of CO2 in the atmosphere that is safe for our future. The atmosphere now has over 420 ppm of carbon largely due to the burning of coal, oil, and gas. This is rapidly heating our planet past safe levels for a livable planet. (More on the science of 350). While the situation is more urgent than ever, together we can create solutions towards a safe climate and a better future for all.
